
| B-String Head Football Coach Mark McFadyen Bio Coach Mark McFadyen has been a dedicated Football Coach for CKYA since 2018. His wife, Diana McFadyen, is also a committed supporter of the football club, serving as a team manager. Together, they bring a tremendous passion for football that fosters a family oriented atmosphere, bringing players and families together within the community. Coach McFadyen is the proud father of four children, two daughters and two sons. His eldest son, Diego, played football and graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 2018. His younger son, Roman, has been part of the CKYA football program for three seasons. A native of San Diego, California, Coach McFadyen joined the U.S. Navy in 2002. His military background has provided him with a wealth of leadership experience, which he brings to the CKYA football community. Over the years, Coach McFadyen has had the opportunity to coach football in three different states, gaining valuable experience at all youth levels. His coaching journey began in Oceanside, California, where he coached with Oceanside Pop Warner, National Youth Sports, and volunteered at El Camino High School. In addition to his coaching roles, he served as a board member for Oceanside Pop Warner for two years. Coach McFadyen’s passion for football is contagious, and both he and his family continue to make a lasting impact on the CKYA community.
