2025/2026 CKYA Basketball Cheer registration is officially open!
Cheer season isn’t over yet — it’s just getting LOUDER
CKYA Basketball Cheer is officially enrolling athletes ages 6–14! Whether you’re brand new or returning to the mat — we can’t wait to cheer loud, tumble proud, and dance it out with YOU this season!
Per-Athlete Fee Structure:• Older Cheer (Ages 7–14): $150
• Intro Cheer (Ages 5 if previously enrolled–6): $100 (Loaner shoes provided)
Optional gear packages are available for added convenience.
If you have a 5 year old cheerleader who is currently in enrolled in our Fall Beginner Cheer and would like to register, please email us so we can adjust your registration. We will not be accepting any new cheerleaders under 6 for the 2025 Basketball Cheer season. Must be 6 on or before August 31, 2025, if your cheerleader is turning or has recently turned 6 between Sept 1 and Dec 31 please email us.
[email protected]This open enrollment budget keeps the program affordable and accessible for both returning and new athletes. Uniform skirts are provided at no cost, with program T-shirts replacing shells to maintain uniformity and reduce expenses. Loaner shoes will be available for younger squads to further support participation.

Basketball Cheer Practice Schedule information
Practice beginning in JanuaryPlace: Ridgetop Middle School
Time: TBD (5:30pm-7pm or 6-7:30pm) pending coach and cheerleader availability
Days: TBD (2 days between Tues-Fri) pending coach and cheerleader availability
Games: Weekdays-Played locally in house, no traveling outside of the area.

[email protected] Refund Policy:· Minimum $20.00 refund fee applies to all refunds, including Buyer’s Remorse, Injury, or otherwise.
· “Buyer’s Remorse” (“full”) refund within 48 hours of registration. The refund fee of $20.00 still applies. Request for “Buyer’s Remorse” refund MUST be made via email within 48 hours of registration. (All registrations and refund request emails are time and date stamped.) Request must be made via email to the Registrar.
· 50% refund is available until the first date of practice; refund request must be made via email to the Registrar.
· After , there is NO refund for non-injury*.
· Injury refunds will be pro-rated after practices begin on . Late registration fees are non-refundable. A doctor’s note on letterhead is required for all injury refund requests.
· All gear must be returned to CKYA before any refund is issued.
FULL PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE is required at the time of registration.
