Let's get LOUD and PROUD for our 2026 Football Cheer Season!
CKYA Football Sideline Cheer is for athletes ages 6–14!
Whether you’re brand new or returning to the mat — we can’t wait to cheer loud, tumble proud, and dance it out with YOU this season!
Must be 6 on or before August 31, 2026
We will begin the season with 4 cheer squads, with a maximum of 15 cheerleaders per squad. Once a squad reaches capacity, any additional registrations will be placed on a waitlist. If enough athletes are added to the waitlist, we will form an additional squad for that age level. We are anticipating two football teams for both Juniors and Sophomores, so creating a second cheer squad for each of those levels would be amazing! We strongly recommend registering early to guarantee your cheerleader a spot on a team.

Stunting assignments will be based on experience, size, and attentiveness. Stunting requires focus and safety awareness, and cheerleaders will be placed where coaches feel they are the best fit. Not every cheerleader is guaranteed to be a flyer, base, or spotter. Positions are assigned with athlete safety and team success in mind. Cheerleader positions will rotate and may change each season, depending on squad needs and individual experience.
A-Seniors (12-14 yrs old 7th/8th grade) $300
B-Juniors (10-11 yrs old 5th/6th grade) $300
Stunting Squads in regulations with NFHS
C-Sophomores (8-9 yrs old 3rd/4th grade) $300
Basic Stunting Squad Thigh stands to a half and beginner cradling
D-Freshman (6-7 yrs old 1st/2nd grade) $225
Basic Cheer NO STUNTS or tumbling beyond cartwheels/somersaults
**Uniform shell and skirt are borrowed
Optional gear packages are available for added convenience.
Cold Weather Package $25
Distributed in September- Leggings, Gloves and Ear Warmer

$30 off if you have a team jacket from the previous 2025/2026 Cheer seasons

Postseason
Full Payment Required before participation:
Initial payment of $50 due at registration. The payment plan will continue April 3rd with a payment of $50 + a $3 processing fee due every two weeks. The final payment is due May 26th. Failure to complete all scheduled payments will result in removal from the program. In this case, all payments made will be refunded minus the $50 initial payment. Participants removed for non-payment may re-register before June 17th to be paid in full and the initial $50 payment will be credited back.
Refund Policy:
·Minimum $20.00 refund fee applies to all refunds, including Buyer’s Remorse, Injury, or otherwise.
·“Buyer’s Remorse” (“full”) refund within 48 hours of registration. The refund fee of $20.00 still applies. Request for “Buyer’s Remorse” refund MUST be made via email within 48 hours of registration. (All registrations and refund request emails are time and date stamped.) Request must be made via email to the Registrar.
·50% refund is available until the first date of practice; refund request must be made via email to the Registrar.
·After , there is NO refund for non-injury*.
·Injury refunds will be pro-rated after practices begin on . Late registration fees are non-refundable. A doctor’s note on letterhead is required for all injury refund requests.
·All gear must be returned to CKYA before any refund is issued.
Proof of Age Requirement: Every new CKYA player is required to provide proof of age (i.e. copy of official birth certificate, passport, or state-issued I.D….NO MILITARY IDs ACCEPTED DUE TO FEDERAL LAWS.) at time of registration. Players that do not submit proof of age will not be allowed to participate in games. BIRTH CERTIFICATES will be required before a jersey is issued. A copy of birth certificate can be uploaded at the time of registration.
FULL PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE is required by June 17th.
