EARLY BIRD Baseball Registration is OPEN!
Register by January 31st to be entered into a drawing for a $300 Gift Certificate to Dick's Sporting Goods.
If you register by January 9th you will get TWO entries into the drawing.$100 prizes will also be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place drawings!
We are excited to launch the new season and wanted to give you a heads up on a few changes & announcements prior to registration:
*We have added an 'All Star Winter' practice option for Minors, Majors and Babe Ruth teams. This is available to everyone who has interest in our Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth All Star program + the opportunity for winter baseball practice as the weather allows Jan-Mar. It will appear as a option during your player registration (only registered players can participate so register early!)
*We have added a new Prospect division for our 6 year old athletes to help transition T-ball players into our Rookie/Coach-Pitch division.We have activated two divisions this year for Babe Ruth - 13/14 year old athletes will play in Babe Ruth Juniors and 15/16 year old athletes will play in Babe Ruth Seniors. We expect both teams to begin playing other Babe Ruth teams beyond Silverdale and will introduce new custom Silverdale Youth Baseball uniforms for our Babe Ruth teams (All other divisions will still represent MLB teams!).
*We have more opportunity for corporate sponsorships this year, including jerseys sponsorships in each division. If your business would like to participate please email with interest in sponsoring jerseys w/should logo for a full division ($3300-$5500 depending on division)
*We are looking for leaders in two areas: Baseball Gear/Equipment Manager and Baseball Volunteer Manager. Please let me know if you have interest!
*Our fundraising opportunity this year will be with Brown Bear Car Wash. Families can pre-purchase 3 tickets for $21 ($7 ea) during registration (Don't miss the option to click YES at the top of your registration page!). Athletes can then sell the tickets for $12 or more (retail with tax is $13+) and spend the extra cash they make on their own sports equipment! More tickets will be available at concessions all season.
*Dick's 20% coupon days will be Feb 28-Mar 3rd & Mar 14-17th.
